GameBoyPi Chapter 2: Parts and Tools
Parts List
The parts list from the Gameboypi wiki is a bit outdated with some broken links, so I had to do some digging through AliExpress for some components. Here’s hoping everything works and I didn’t miss anything essential. I am going for the basic 2.8” screen and not adding the link port or original SP charge port. Again, this is to make five total units. I am reusing some parts from the original junk SP where possible, and I already have one Raspberry Pi on hand. I will end up needing to buy some micro SD cards to store the OS and games, but I am focusing on assembly and function for the time being.

Mistakes
The rechargeable batteries were listed as “two pieces,” which I thought was referring to the battery itself and the mini screwdriver it came with for the battery door. This was wrong. A single order was two batteries and two mini screwdrivers, so now I have way too many of those things. Perhaps I will include them as extras if I end up selling these.
